Plastic Driveway Grids Recycled

 How do they function?

Air gaps can form between pieces of Plastic Garvel Grids or soil thanks to our driveway grids. These air gaps draw down surface water when the ground is saturated and hold it until the ground dries out enough to allow it to seep back in. Although this kind of product is frequently referred to as cellular paving, porous paving, eco paving, permeable paving, ground reinforcement grids, Su DS pavers, gravel grids, ground stabilization grids, or plastic grid paving, we prefer to refer to them as driveway grids.

Gravel or grass?

In contrast to unsightly asphalt or costly block paving, our recycled plastic driveway grids can be finished with either grass or gravel, allowing them to blend seamlessly into private homes and rural areas while maintaining exceptional load-bearing capabilities.

For driveway grids with a lot of traffic, 14 to 20 mm angular chippings are the most common filler. This is due to the fact that the chippings are large enough to prevent migration in the tread of large vehicles in addition to bed down to provide a stable surface.

For Pathways

If you've ever tried to push a wheelchair or child's pushchair across normal, unbound Gravel GRID you know how difficult it is. Therefore, placing our recycled plastic driveway grids underneath the gravel will make the process much simpler. Part M of the Building Code applies to you if your path is in a public space.

Topsoil and grass seed can be used to fill driveway grids for private gardens, golf buggy routes, and public car parking spaces with less traffic. Before traffic can enter the grids, the grass must first be cut back after passing through them for the first time and then grow fully again.

Accessibility for everyone, regardless of disability, is the focus of this regulation section. Part M compliance necessitates the provision of a wheelchair-accessible solid surface. Gravel can settle against each other and form a solid surface that won't shift under narrow wheels thanks to our driveway grids, which hold it in place. Since your wheelbarrow won't get stuck, our driveway grids are also an excellent option for garden pathways.
